Skyler

In addition to various leadership roles during law school, Skyler acquired practical legal experience. She worked as a student in Judge Elmo B. Hunter Legal Center for Victims of Crimes Against Women and was selected as a Squire Patton Boggs Sustained Impact Racial Justice Fellow. She also served as a research assistant to former Senior Associate Dean Dr. Lolita Buckner Inniss and completed both a Judicial Internship and Externship in the Northern District of Texas.

Prior to joining Figari + Davenport, Skyler gained valuable experience at a Texas-based firm, where she focused on advising on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, fringe benefits, and welfare plans. She also provided guidance on ERISA compliance, employee benefits, and executive compensation in the context of corporate mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
